Duplication of Edition Entries

Description
Unfortunately there is a methodological disparity between how Alice and I are entering data into OpenAtlas. For references to the edition for each text, Alice has been citing one edition/translation and then adding the pages in the box that says 'page', whereas I've been creating a new entry for the same books every time. My method isn't preferable, and it would be better to streamline mine and Alice's approaches. Would it be possible to do a mass change, so that all entries for ''Saint Augustine Letters volume 3 (131-164)', trans. by Wilfred Parsons (Washington: The Catholic University of America Press, 1953)' for example, would be to one entry? Does that make sense?
Thanks very much,
Victoria

I think I understand the issue and agree, it would be preferable if there is only one edition with the same title (there seem to be 43 at the moment).
I'll try to write a script that deletes all but one and remaps existing links including information (e.g. page 53-8) to the one left.
Next week I can look into it in more detail but I already noticed one entry with no links (https://connec.acdh.oeaw.ac.at/reference/view/5147) which I guess can be deleted.
I wrote and executed a script that joined all references named: ''Saint Augustine Letters volume 3 (131-164)', trans. by Wilfred Parsons (Washington: The Catholic University of America Press, 1953)'
to one (the first one: https://connec.acdh.oeaw.ac.at/reference/view/3204#tab-info)
As you can see this entry has now 55 source connections. After that I deleted the other 59 (5 had no connection).
Please check if this looks ok, I made a backup just in case but if we have to restore it we would lose all changes made after that.

Hope this worked out as expected, have a nice day, Alex
