Like discussed in our meeting with Nicholas:

To improve the search options (in top search and "data view" search) and make it easier for user to navigate we worked out following structure:

  • Name (default) - it will also be searched in aliases
  • Description - search in descriptions
  • Type - search in type names
  • Before - search for entries with begin data before
  • After - search for entries with begin data afer

The labeling and exact functionality of the before/after items can be discussed further but it would be important to reduce date related search to 2 options.
