In the /content directory the content of the landing page can be configured by markdown files.

Although we still have to decide how to manage content of individual projects (#1847) I suggest to keep editing of basic information in the OpenAtlas backend (site name, intro, contact, legal notice).
That way managers of the specific projects can easily e.g. announce events or change contact information without our involvement or knowledge about technical details.
