Because of the increasing requirements (e.g. URL for licenses licences in IIIF) we decided to implement a new license licence system for files. *Implementation* *Ideas* * New license system (de-coupled from types) Remove standard licence type * Configurable licences at @admin/files@ * Option to add an URL Fixed category for open/public licences * Option to set required (true by default) (Default will be required) * Make example licences (CC-BY-4.0, CC-BY-SA-4.0, Public Domain) We could take a look at e.g. Vocabs to provide a range of default licenses will discuss this in the next [[Meeting_2023-11-23|developer meeting]].
