The Integrated Authority File, "GND":https://gnd.network/Webs/gnd/EN/Home/home_node.html (Gemeinsamen Normdatei) is (according to them) the largest collection of cultural and research authority data in the German-speaking countries. Because it is already used in some projects and provides an "API":https://lobid.org/gnd/api via "lobid":https://lobid.org/ we will look into using it to add an integrated search and providing additional information in OpenAtlas. *Implementation* To do: * The external reference system GND will be added by default (or updated if already existing) * Via the lobid API it can be searched, similar Add to Wikidata or GeoNames, in the form field manual * At a detail view of an entity linked to GND more information from there can be fetched and displayed
