UI map meeting 2022-03-04¶

This meeting is about the map module in the OpenAtlas user interface

Administrative¶

• Who writes protocol? -> Bernhard
• Next developer meeting postponed
• Minor release 7.1.1 and clean up servers after moves, especially logs
• Athos book article: more time for article but summary (150-200 words) needed

Maps¶

• Update by Andi about map development -> it looks good and there are lot of improvements, especially regarding usability
• Andi implemented a text input field for other geometries than point too. Stefan suggested to use WKT as standard for entering coordinates in these. See also #1047
• The clustering/circling of marker isn't implemented but that can be done in a later version too
• Alex asked if Andi could look into NPM issues too #1594
• Last remaining essential task would be solving form and map overlapping on smaller screens.
• Once the main work is done we can merge it to develop, upload it for testing on demo-dev and THANADOS and if all works out add to the next release
