Map View¶
New configuration options for the CMS:- Color per move / place types (#2513)
- Thickness of arches (e.g. different for person vs. group) (#2514)
- Add an option to show small labels on the map (#2515)
- Custom markers, e.g. icons/svg, for different types (#2516)
Ego network¶
- Issue #2517
- Display ego network in detail view
- Option for replacing full network visualization with ego network of currently selected entity
- Configurable depth (similar to OpenAtlas backend)
Donors¶
There are persons within the dataset who donated artifacts to a monastery and should be commemorated (#2518)- Add a view to list donors per monastery
- If available, display donated/gifted artifacts along with a person
- Maybe a more general approach: allow researchers to specify "representative" entities (e.g. persons) that are listed at the top of a place's/institution's detail view
Parent- and child monasteries¶
To model the relation between parent- and child-monasteries and display them on the map in OpenAtlas Discovery, we agreed on the following for now:- The group <Monastery X> (child) <is member of> the group <Monastery Y> (parent)
- Add a move event from Y (parent) to X (child) that represents monks moving from Y to X during the founding process of X. This move will be displayed on the map accordingly.
