Save geometry not working

Description
When inserting a new feature after drawing the shape in the map window, the geometry cannot be saved (does not change its color)
In edit mode (after feature was already inserted) this works without problems.

I can confirm this and it can be reproduce on demo-dev e.g. https://demo-dev.openatlas.eu/place/insert/9297
It also occurs in the stable version (3.20.1)
