Description
Set up a demo versions, see 2nd list at Online Versions
To do:- Make nicer intro text (e.g. with link to https://openatlas.eu)
- Set up a version for demo (wait for release 5.6.0)

At https://origins.openatlas.eu/ I made the API public, you both have users there as well. I also contacted MEDCON about a frontend demo version, Berni wanted to do this with DPP too.
As soon as we get confirmations we can start getting the Frontend online.

I just updated Origins, demo-dev and THANADOS to the newest develop version so that you have newer API functionality available. If in doubt check the respective changelog page to see which API features are already online.

I set up 3 websites for frontend (demo, demo-dev, origins) with HTTPS and all the stuff, see Online Versions the second list. Now we just have to put there something so assigning this to Christoph ;)

thank you alex, unfortunately only origins is available without login. for the other two I get a 403:

Yes but that's because we are waiting for permission to open these up. We (Alex with demo/MEDCON and Berni with demo-dev/DPP) will post here as soon as we got them. Open the API to public itself will have to be done by me because that also requires an update of the daily reset scripts.
For that reason I already opened the Origins project so that we have something to test against now.
But thank you for feedback, at least we know that Origins is working.

Met with Johannes today and he kindly gave permission to use the MEDCON data from demo for the frontend demo too.
I already set API to public there, see updated 2nd list at Online Versions but be aware that there will be much more data than at Origins.

Phoned with Mihailo today and he also gave permission to use the DPP data for the frontend demo. URL is https://dppopenatlas.oeaw.ac.at/
Maybe we should ask Johannes and Stefan too, if it is ok for them? I don't know.
Additionally, the demo-dev data is also open to use, because it is a small derivative from DPP.

Thanks Berni for fetching permission. Like discussed we closed the API for https://dppopenatlas.oeaw.ac.at/ again but demo-dev is open now. That should be enough for now, for open API instances see online versions.

I activated frontend-demo-dev.openatlas.eu it's a bit slower but works. I also updated the online OpenAtlas instances (Origins, Demo-Dev) with current develop version to include latest API changes.

At the moment I work with the main branch of the frontend (e.g. tried to keep empty dist directory) and had problems with merging master. We should look at that together and solve it at next meeting.

yes, let's solve it in person. I merged all relevant changes and an empty /dist into main and pushed it for now, can't delete master though as it's still the default branch wich I don't have permissions to change :)
