View jumps to top if map search is used

Description
If you click on the search field in the map, the page jumps to the top of the page.
This is especially awkward if the map is below a table or form when e.g. using a small window.
This was originally reported by Nina but I postponed it because it was at a time when the map was rebuild completely, nevertheless this seems to be still an issue.

Now when clicking on the geonames search the view won't jump to the top of the page anymore.
Changes are in develop.
