Description

As already discussed with Katharina the current display of reference systems links in detail views of entities could be improved, see e.g. https://demo-dev.openatlas.eu/entity/50665 or https://demo-dev.openatlas.eu/entity/180323

Information to be displayed:
  • Identifier, e.g. Q697154 for Wikidata (if a resolver URL was specified this could be linked to the entry on the external system, Katharina suggested to use an "external link" icon)
  • Precision (exact match, close match from SKOS)
  • A link to the OpenAtlas reference system entry, e.g. see what else is linked
  • A Show button to display (dynamically on the same page) information regarding selected entity fetched from this reference system (if implemented in OpenAtlas, currently Wikidata, GeoNames, GND)
  • A link to the website of the reference system (if specified) which might be useful especially if the identifier isn't linked.

The last one is optional because the website of the reference system is also displayed when viewing the OpenAtlas detail view of this system.
But if we only display a link to the OpenAtlas entry of e.g. Wikidata, user can get confused when than seeing there "just" another OpenAtlas view instead of the Wikidata project page.
However, I asked Katharina to kindly take a look at it.
