Map problem at a specific Place
Added by Bernhard Koschiček-Krombholz over 6 years ago.
Updated over 6 years ago.
Description
Katharina has a problem with this specific place:
The Problem appears, when there is a point and/or a poygon is on the map linked with this place and she wants to edit the description of this point or polygon, the geom disappears after she saved the progress. At some point the OpenAtlas application only saves wrong geom data and therefore the gis entries has to be deleted.

- Assignee changed from Alexander Watzinger to Bernhard Koschiček-Krombholz
- Target version set to 3.6.2
I tested a few things and noticed errors when using double qotes in name or description of GIS entries.
In the current GitHub version they are now being escaped.
@ Bernhard: please pull GitHub DPP branch (I can't because of user/persmission issues) and test if this solves the problems
If the problem persists please add information like the description used.
I also noticed strange behavior when editing multiple times in the map. But it seemed only display related, didn't break the map and will hopefully be resolve with #652
- Status changed from In Progress to Closed
After some user feedback the issue seems to have been resolved so closing ticket.
Please reopoen or make a new one if you experience problems again.
- Status changed from Closed to In Progress
- Target version deleted (
3.6.2)
Attached is a xml file with the two corrupt entries. GEOM has definitly not enough characters.
- Priority changed from 5 to 3
- Target version set to 3.6.3
Bug occurred when updating a polygon but not changing the shape.
Should be fixed now (in master and DPP branch).
Also, saving empty geoms is now prevented to at least don't break the map if something similar should happen again.
@ Bernhard: please close this thicket if fix is confirmed
