Feature #2161
Updated by Alexander Watzinger 11 months ago
Our translation system works but it has evolved and we learned a lot over time, e.g.: * Don't capitalize at the beginning of a translation (if it is not capitalized in the respective language) language * Don't translate punctuation marks at the end (e.g. a question mark) which should be "hard coded" Although we making new translations more correct now, the former ones should be cleaned up. This could be a bit of work because all translated languages must have to be checked and correctly "refilled". E.g. if a translation identifier changed to a non capitalized beginning the former translation still can be used (not capitalized), but it still needs some manual work to go through them. In case somebody has the time/motivation to do this please contact me before to discuss what/how to do this. Some notes: * Documentation: [[Translations]] workflow * Especially JavaScript confirm messages should be overhauled * I'm still not sure how to best translate bigger text blocks
