When talking with Nina we decided to add a news page on https://openatlas.eu Initial idea is to put the latest news item with a teaser, a small one liner, on top of the start page which links to a news overview page. page where all items can be seen in detail. Nina will try to gather some news items to test it. *News items* * OpenAtlas Releases * OpenAtlas related events * Announcement of new cooperations * Mentions of OpenAtlas and related projects in others news systems * Awards *Technicalities* In the first version the news will be "hard coded" with dictionaries like projects or team inside the application but we can think about a database driven CMS like solution in the long run. To dos: * Implement news system * Function for external links * Do we want/need images?
