Description
When talking with Nina we decided to add a news page on https://openatlas.eu
Initial idea is to put the latest news item with a teaser, a small one liner, on top of the start page which links to a news overview page.
Nina will gather some news items to test it.
- OpenAtlas Releases
- OpenAtlas related events
- Announcement of new cooperations
- Mentions of OpenAtlas and related projects in others news systems
- Awards
In the first version the news will be "hard coded" with dictionaries like projects or team but we can think about a database driven CMS like solution in the long run. To dos:
- Implement news system
- Function for external links
- Do we want/need images?
