CONNEC Meeting 2022-01-13¶

Upcoming server move and new URLs¶

• Is needed for new major version (and needed issue #1297: Connecting events sequentially)
• Backend current https://connec.openatlas.eu -> https://connec.acdh.oeaw.ac.at (Test version is already online)
• Presentation site current https://frontend-connec.openatlas.eu -> https://discover-connec.openatlas.eu (not implemented)

Transforming sub events¶

• see #1617

• We will run the script on the test server so that we can take a look at the changes without risking unwanted changes in the productive system
• In cases where transformation isn't possible the "is sub event of" link will be kept and a list of them will be sent to check them
• Once we are satisfied with the result we can run the script on the productive data

Presentation site¶

• New version at: https://frontend-connec.openatlas.eu/
• Sadly we couldn't show the new presentation site because of technical issues but will provide a link to it as soon as possible
• We will than discuss it at the next meeting early February
