- Approaching Byzantium: Nicholas Melvani
Update about new features in 7.8.0¶
- Composition of artifacts, e.g. to make a collection of books with the individually books as sub artifacts
- Required types which could come in handy for e.g. case study
- Drag and drop for images
Question about entering data for images¶
- Images can be added to a source (at the file tab of the source).
- It was recommended to add license information as early as possible.
- We created a question issue (#1883) about image annotation
Question about entering data for manuscripts¶
- The new sub artifact feature can be used to add more information about parts of a manuscript, e.g. the binding, in a structured way
- A more detailed way of entering structured data was given by the example of a note attached to a manuscript:
- Creating the manuscript as an artifact
- Adding the note as a sub artifact
- Creating a source for the content of the note and link it to the note artifact (when editing the source)
