Topics¶

This meeting will be about transforming Welterbe data to a more suitable structure. It will contain many German terms and won't be that interesting for people not involved.
Nevertheless we like to track discussed topics here.

General¶

• How are students enter data (via laptops in the field?) and which user role they get usually
  -> students are taking notes in the field and enter them later with laptops/tablets, usually they have the contributor roles (e.g. they can't add new types)

Data restructure¶

• Discuss name and create place hierarchy online -> Cadastre

• Inform about data clean up ✅
  • Deleted places with "Bitte löschen"
  • Deleted a place with "Test" prefix
  • Fixed various entries: too much zeros, missing underline, ...

• Discuss remaining duplicates ✅
  • Search with similar names place 100%
  • Reminder to better make user inactive instead of deleting to keep history of created entities

• Deal with current information at places in cadastre place hierarchy
  • Name, e.g. 42018_N910G28 will be 910/28 with 42018 as super. If name contains an F a dot will be prefixed. ✅
  • Description -> description ✅
  • Alias, e.g. "Grundstück um renovierten Haus": add to description? -> add a line above description with "Adresse:"
  • Type -> remove because currently always "Grundstück" ✅
  • Katastralgemeinde Nr -> remove because now in link to super ✅
  • Grenzkataster -> to discuss, currently 999 E, 105 G -> can be removed because part of cadastre info
  • Grundstückzahlen -> accessible via kataster.bev.gv.at? How to map and present? -> can be removed because part of cadastre info
    • EZ Einlegezahl
    • Fläche lt. Grundbuch in m²
  • Grundstück Begrenzung -> to description? -> will be added to subs instead
    • Art (e.g. Mauer)
    • Erkenntlich (e.g. ja, nein, kaum)
  • Administrative unit -> remove because now linked to cadastre ✅
  • Erfassungsmethode, e.g. Geländebegehung -> remove (but stays in subs)
  • Publication status (important for map colors in backend) -> can be removed but check if map colors are still working
  • Grundstücksnr. -> remove because in name ✅
  • Dates -> remove (it could be saved but seemed to be only used a dozen times mistakenly as date of exploration) ✅
  • GIS location -> to be discussed if maybe taken from kataster.bev.gv.at? -> can be removed because subs are also geolocated and info can be received from cadastre

• Import from cadastre data. It would be around 1500-2000 entries per Katestralgemeinde (idea from Bernhard)?
  -> idea was accepted, one advantage will be that we can link them automatically to kataster.bev.gv.at

• OpenAtlas team will implement changes discussed above in the restructure script
• A version with restructured data will be uploaded so that the data can be explored and checked by Welterbe
