- Target version changed from 5.5.0 to Wishlist
Christoph made the good argument that we should implement an image resize function before showing many at once. Since this won't happen in the foreseeable future we will move this issue for to the wishlist for now.
- Start date changed from 2020-06-17 to 2021-04-02
- Follows Feature #1492: Image Processing added
- Status changed from Acknowledged to In Progress
Functionality added, discussion is needed, how to implement systemwide
- Status changed from In Progress to Assigned
- Assignee set to Bernhard Koschiček-Krombholz
- Target version changed from Wishlist to 6.3.0
The feature_api_image branch provides now the possibility to show small preview images in the file table.
This is quite slow, because the browser need time to get them.
With the resize functions, it is possible to implement this feature.
- Description updated (diff)
Decided in OpenAtlas meeting to only make versions we need in backend, so one for thumbnail in tables and one for presentation in detail view of entity.
- Status changed from Assigned to In Progress
- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
It is now possible to activate image preview for all tables with files. It is a new column with a 100px image of the file.
If it is really needed, that the image is shown within a "pop up box", please create another ticket.
- Target version changed from 6.3.0 to 6.4.0
- Status changed from Resolved to Closed
