FYI, this is the title and abstract we handed in for the research lunch:
OpenAtlas - A Database System for the Humanities and Beyond
OpenAtlas (https://openatlas.eu/), developed mainly at the Austrian Center of Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage (ACDH-CH) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), is an open source database software developed especially to acquire, edit and manage research data from various fields of humanities. It is an open source project (https://github.com/craws/OpenAtlas) and projects that use the database in a cooperative effort subsequently make their data available as open access.
A user interface, which is accessible via any common browser, allows for easy data entry, while the data is mapped in the background according to CIDOC CRM. In addition, OpenAtlas offers possibilities to link data entries to create Linked Open Data as well as an integrated map application that allows for easy acquisition of geographic data.
Language will be English
