I will start a list with all relevant publications that should be featured on that page. Please add anything I've forgotten here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lTqFJcaS0caXbBm8o2tNL3ZggaeFLS1v0UBN1FYjU48/edit?usp=sharing
Additional question: will conference presentations also be included?
Will articles that mainly deal with THANADOS be included (such as https://www.researchgate.net/publication/375429452_Integrating_Data_on_Early_Medieval_Graves_Mapping_the_THANADOS_database_to_the_ARIADNE_infrastructure_with_the_Mortuary_Data_Application_Profile)

About the conference presentations: I would say not to include them because of duplication. They are already available at the event page where they also are being in context.
Also I will stop editing the document to not confuse you while you're editing it ;)
I will take a look later and thanks for organizing this.

Can we add articles where non of us is an author? How much should an article address OpenAtlas? (for example, should we add this article to our OpenAtlas publication list: https://ica-proc.copernicus.org/articles/4/14/2021/ica-proc-4-14-2021.pdf)

Regarding articles where non of us is author: in general I would say yes but than the OpenAtlas context should be really strong.
So if in doubt better leave it out.

Perfect, Alex. Thank you for your feedback. One more (legal) question - how do we want to deal with publications that don't provide a DOI? Make the PDF available on openatlas.net? Do we only make it available if a license is stated? Do we just display the citation on people have to look for the publication online themselves? I would appreciate any input on that matter.

But it is a good question about accessibility of these. My thoughts about that:
- If possible we make them available as PDF on OpenAtlas as long as nothing speaks against it (license and/or permission)
- Additionally we should provide links to the "sources" if available
- In case both is not possible, e.g. a book which has to be bought, I would at least mention them, if the OpenAtlas context is substantial
Although I define the scope very open I also think it is just a starting point which we can expand anytime. So if in doubt about a specific publication just leave it out for now.
We can discuss the publication list later, e.g. the next OpenAtlas developer meeting would be a good opportunity to take a look together.

- Description updated (diff)
Only things left are:
- How to make it more prominent at the project site. We have this already on the agenda for the next developer meeting.
- Adding and link PDFs where available and possible from the license for easier access.

- Status changed from In Progress to Closed
- Description updated (diff)
- Category changed from Presentations to Documentation
Like discussed in last developer meeting, we will only provide DOIs if available and not providing files to not run into any copyright or similar issues.
That also means we can close this issue. Thanks a lot again Nina for implementing this.
