Description
I often enter Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) in the description field of Reference entries. Is it possible to make them clickable so that they function as links?

DOIs can be handled as external references, but it kind of wrong (imho) in the senses, that the DOI is rather additional information for the book/article itself, then a reference by its own. But we currently have a ticket on the roadmap (#2601) that should address the core problem. I will but it up in our next developer meeting.
