Planning¶

• Roadmap OpenAtlas -> Next features will be about IIIF and file licenses
  • New implementation for network -> #2011
• Roadmap OpenAtlas Discovery -> Next features will be about images and IIIF
  • There are enough finished features in OpenAtlas Discovery 0.3.0 to release it
  • Images -> Are displayed as "profile" images but not at the file view (will be changed)
  • IIIF -> Bernhard will schedule a meeting with our frontend team about using IIIF via the API for the presentation sites
  • Usage of port from shadcn (Mocca)? -> Sounds great and will be looked into

OpenAtlas Website¶

• Inviting other OpenAtlas user to present their project. Maybe use tags differentiate (Alex) ->Idea was welcome (#2170)

• #1994: Slow table loading in forms if much existing data - maybe switch to an auto-complete? Maybe offer both? -> Yes (#2171)
• #2127 Linking artifacts with other artifacts: general usefulness vs implementation cost (Nicholas) -> Postponed because of missing participants
• #1047 Field for WKT coordinates data input, examples of WKT coordinates (Bernhard) -> Postponed because of missing participants
• Annotation - offer to annotate when linking to file (Alex) -> Problematic approach because of e.g. linking multiple files, we will look into different strategies to enhance the usability
• #2166 How to include linked entities in the IIIF manifest? -> Postponed because of missing participants
• #2105 New file license system -> Approach was shown and discussed
