Question #1795
closedFeature #1751: Manual: add model documentation
Manual: Model possible mistake
Description
While working on the model documentation for the manual, I think I may have found a small mistake in the documentation. I found it in the Redmine documentation (https://redmine.openatlas.eu/projects/uni/wiki/CIDOC_CRM_shortcuts, see also https://demo-dev.openatlas.eu/static/manual/model/openatlas_shortcuts.html#oa8-appears-for-the-first-time-in) of OA shortcut "OA8 - appears for the first time in". In the example ([Albert Einstein (E21)] was brought into existence by (P92) [Birth of Albert Einstein (E12)] took place at [Ulm (E53)]) it is stated, that the Birth of Einstein is an instance of E12. But E12 is Production (https://cidoc-crm.org/Entity/E12-Production/version-7.1.1). Wouldn't it be better to use E67 - Birth (https://cidoc-crm.org/Entity/E67-Birth/version-7.1.1) or E63 - Beginning of Existence (https://cidoc-crm.org/entity/e63-beginning-of-existence/version-7.1.1)? Or alter the example to the production of an item of some sort?
The same can be found for- OA9 - Appears for the last time in (https://demo-dev.openatlas.eu/static/manual/model/openatlas_shortcuts.html#oa9-appears-for-the-last-time-in) - here Death of Einstein is mentioned as E12 - Production as well in the example ([Albert Einstein (E21)] was taken out of existence by [Death of Albert Einstein (E12)] took place at [Princeton (E53)])
- for dates (https://redmine.openatlas.eu/projects/uni/wiki/Dates):
- Persistent Item end - Example: Destruction of the one ring (E12)
- Person Birth - Example [birth of Stefan (E12)]

Assigning to our CIDOC model expert Stefan because it is a model related question.

I guess it is just a copy paste error. So Ninas suggestions are absolutely right.
