I made a develop branch where the features site is removed and cooperation now has an own menu entry.
I added a link to the new location of feature information in the manual at the start page but it won't work till next OpenAtlas release. However, a preview is available here: https://demo-dev.openatlas.eu/static/manual/features.html
Assigning this to Andi now to improve the layout. Maybe make a new feature branch out of the current develop branch.
And thanks for looking into this, pleasing layouts are not one of my strengths ;)

Just a quick update: https://openatlas.eu is now online with newest changes (e.g. feature link instead a site).
This means there is no develop branch anymore, you can just branch from main.

This would be a good issue to involve Nina who is already added as watcher.

I have tried to create a first version of my idea of an improved website. I tried to make the site modern and more attractive for possible users or cooperation partners. I think it is therefore important to dedicate a section for cooperation on the landing page and to present the features already on the landing page too.
I have created a possible design in Figma.

- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
I've adapted the website layout. Changes are currently on the branch feature_new_ui. The landling page is now designed to show the key features of OpenAtlas and it is easier for possible future cooperation partners to find information and contact us.
The list of the key features consists currently only of the Cidoc model and the interactive map.
Please let me know what you think.

Thanks a lot Andi, it looks great and I installed it at https://dev.openatlas.eu/ so that others can try it out easily too.
I did some tests and other checks where I noticed a minor, not urgent, issue: the 404 errors don't work anymore.
I also changed the status to in progress (until we release the new version) but feel free to hand the issue over to me anytime.

Thanks for having a look at it.
The 404 errors work again.

The illustrations I have used are from https://undraw.co/.
It is not necessary to attribute them (https://undraw.co/license). Nevertheless, we can consider to do it.

es schaut wahnsinnig professionell aus (nicht dass openatlas das nicht ohnehin wäre :) )
ziemlich cool, andi!

Thanks for fixing the 404 site and that tests coverage is 100% again.
I also added the Shahi workshop presentation in main but also merged to feature branch and put it all online.
